According to the Surrogacy Regulation Act of 2021, Altruistic surgery, meaning any legal arrangement between an intending couple and an intending mother that does not provide financial compensation to the surrogate mother other than the medical expenses incurred during the pregnancy, is just and allowed by law.

Legal Help for Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Issues
Because every family deserves a fair and safe start.
If you've chosen IVF or other assisted reproductive methods, you've already taken a big and brave step toward building your family.
But sometimes, things can go wrong—like a mix-up in embryo transfer, incomplete medical information, or unclear contracts with clinics.
That’s where we come in.
We are here to help you with ART related legal issue :
Wrong Embryo Transfer / Embryo Mix-Up
This happens when the wrong embryo is implanted into the intended parent or surrogate. It's a serious error that can lead to legal, emotional, and medical complications for everyone involved.
Unclear or Incomplete Consent Forms
Sometimes, clinics may not explain the full risks or options before treatment. If you were not properly informed or misled, it could amount to a violation of your legal rights.
Negligence by fertility clinics or labs
Mistakes in handling, storing, or transferring embryos, sperm, or eggs can have life-changing consequences. Clinics must follow strict procedures—and if they don't, you can hold them accountable.
Issues with sperm or egg donation contracts
Whether you're using donor sperm or eggs, it's important that the legal paperwork clearly defines everyone’s rights and responsibilities. Vague or missing agreements can lead to future disputes.
Freezing, storage, or destruction of embryos without proper consent
If an embryo is destroyed, thawed too early, or lost due to poor storage practices, you may be entitled to legal remedies. Clinics must store embryos safely and as per the agreed timeline.
Miscommunication or malpractice in surrogacy + ART procedures
Patients have a right to clear, honest, and complete information before undergoing treatment. If you feel misled or kept in the dark, that’s not just bad service—it could be legally wrong.

A groundbreaking court case has recently captured the attention of legal practitioners and individuals seeking to expand their families through assisted reproductive technologies. This remarkable court case and the interim order passed thereafter challenges the existing legislations and has far-reaching implications for infertile couples in the country.
